The Edinburgh Primary Schools Football 4’s & Soccer 7’s Programme is committed towards providing opportunities for children to participate in football in an environment that fosters fair play, equality, participation and player and coach development.

Grow and sustain the value and benefit of Primary School football in Edinburgh for individuals, groups and communities, by providing better quality opportunities for everyone to participate and develop through the game
Soccer Sevens is set up to promote football to children of primary school age in a safe and encouraging environment. It aims to encourage children to learn new skills at coaching sessions and develop them in small-sided games whilst enjoying the benefits of regular exercise in the fresh air. Our players take part in Saturday matches, however the aim of Soccer 7s is that all can play, regardless of ability. For those who wish to play more competitively, club teams around Edinburgh offer children the opportunity to do this.
Soccer Sevens is run by a fantastic group of volunteer parent coaches. Our Active Schools Co-ordinator works with our parent coaches in setting up and gathering information for each year group.
