Author Collaboration: P1 – P7 illustrators
We are collaborating with children’s author, Ian Dunn, on his first novel for children called ‘David Brown Lives Upside Down.’ It’s a story about a child, David, who is neuro diverse. All our pupils have been illustrating pages from the story. Some of these will be chosen for the printed versions of the story. We are printing 3 versions, one illustrated by our P1-P2 children, one by our P3-P4 children and one by our P5-P7 children. We can’t wait to share the finished stories and photos of the launch event. Bookfest and Beyond 2022 – Author Events
In February our P6 and P7A classes enjoyed an online author event with MG Leonard, author of many children’s novels including ‘Twitch’. In April our P5s are looking forwards to an author visit from Lari Don, author of many children’s novels including the ‘Fabled Beast Chronicles’.
