Sponsored Walk Grand Total

I am delighted to announce that our sponsored walk for Mpeni raised an astounding £3772.93!!!!

When this is added to our fundraising from earlier in the year our grant total comes to £7890.19!  This includes an extra £110 raised by Okko, Valo, Suzanne and Paul through a toy sale they organised in their weekend.

I  am so grateful and proud of the effort made by everyone in the school community to help our friends in Mpeni.  We are hoping that the additional money raised will be able to support the building of additional resources for the school.  We are in discussions with the Mpeni school community regarding the best use of the funds.

Thank you!

Best wishes,

Parent/Carers survey for Early learning and Childcare

Parent/Carers survey for Early learning and Childcare:

In response to feedback the council has adapted the citywide parent/carer survey specifically for Early Learning and Childcare settings.

The link to the Early Years new survey is:

http://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/eyparc

The closing date for this survey is 30th March 2018.

We would urge both morning and afternoon nursery parents and carers to respond to the survey as the feedback will be used to help us plan our nursery improvement plan for next year.

Snow school spirit

IMG_6154.jpg

Due to an amazing turnout from our school community including parents, pupils, staff and local community we will be able to open tomorrow. Everyone helped clear our school grounds by shoveling snow to ensure everyone has safe access to the building. Thank you to everyone that turned out. Fantastic community spirit!
